PHILANTHROPY
NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY
Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE) is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE's mission is to serve individuals and families in the most marginalized communities in the world. They place a special focus on working alongside underprivileged women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty.

One of our philanthropy events includes our annual Kappas Care Service Auction where students can bid on services from our sisters such as making boba runs and puppy dates!
LOCAL PHILANTHROPY
Refugee Community Partnership (RCP) is comprised of community and student volunteers dedicated to improving the lives and protecting the rights of refugee families through educational programs, raising health awareness, and legal aid services in order to promote self-sufficiency and community empowerment. RCP supports Burmese, Syrian, and Congolese refugees in Chapel Hill and Carrboro and is an organization we hold close to our hearts as many of our own sisters are children of refugees.

On top of hosting benefit nights, one of our events includes Kappa Karnival where we bring class carnival events to pit and raise money towards RCP!
